A Practice Built on Decades of Experience
SON Professional Services traces its roots to S. Olayemi Nasiru & Co, a chartered accountancy practice founded on the principle that every client — regardless of size — deserves the same quality of advice that large corporations receive from the Big Four.
Over time, we recognised that our clients needed more than audit and tax compliance. They needed partners who could help them think strategically, build their teams, and navigate change. SON Professional Services was created to meet that broader need.
Today, we serve clients across multiple sectors — from SMEs and NGOs to corporate groups — bringing senior-level expertise, honest counsel, and genuine commitment to every engagement.
2008
SON Professional Services and SON Chartered Accountants commenced provision of quality services to its numerous clients
2013
Expanded its activities to cover recruitment and talent hunting services
2018
The firm signed up its partnership model and launched its first financial institution audit to become one of the top audit firms
2020
SON Professional Services commenced its specialized training faculty including AML/CFT, Compliance Training for banks, IFRS Training for corporate organizations and other soft skill trainings
2024
SON Professional Services expanded its activities to cover numerous managed services including risk management, technology services, merger and acquisition services, and more

Olayemi Nasiru, PhD, FCA
Lead Partner
Dr. Olayemi Nasiru is the Lead Partner of SON Chartered Accountants and Director in charge of Audit and specialized financial advisory. He is a Fellow of ICAN and CIBN and a seasoned professional in accounting, finance, taxation, and Risk Management. He has worked with PWC, EY, and Deloitte on several successful projects and has over 25 years' quality industry experience. He is an alumnus of Lagos Business School (SMP 50) and holds a PhD in Development Finance from Babcock University, Ilishan, Nigeria.
Omoniyi Agunbiade, FCA
Associate Partner, Tax Services
Omoniyi is an accomplished senior-level executive with extensive hands-on experience in audit, assurance, management, finance, and accounting, having risen to CFO at many companies including multinationals. He is a Fellow of ICAN (FCA), a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Shipping (FCIS), and holds an MBA and a Master in Legal Studies. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School Senior Management Programme.
